LGBTQ Peer Counseling
As a queer, Latinx femme who has navigated mental health challenges and found a way to embrace my true self, I understand the impact the complexities of identity, culture, and systemic oppression can have on our mental health. If you are a queer person or questioning your sexuality while navigating the intersections of your identity and culture, I am here to offer support that acknowledges your unique lived experiences. Whether you're exploring your identity, unpacking machismo, dealing with unsupportive family, or simply need someone who understands your cultural background and struggles, I’m here to offer empathy and guidance. Together, we can work through the complexities of navigating queerness in a world that often marginalizes us, while also celebrating the strength and resilience that comes from embracing our full identities. What I Offer: Weekly/Biweekly Peer Support Sessions (45-60 minutes) These sessions provide a safe, judgment-free space where you can express your emotions, share your experiences. Whether you're questioning your sexuality, or simply seeking a space to process how your identity intersects with your cultural background, I’m here to support you in finding clarity, healing, and belonging. Virtual Support via Text (24/7, 1 Week Duration) Sometimes, you need someone to reach out to in moments of stress or doubt. My virtual text support is available 24/7 for one week, offering a quick and consistent source of reassurance and connection. Whether you need advice, a listening ear, or a reminder that you are not alone in confronting the weight of societal pressures, I’m just a message away. Resource/Referral Support Session Navigating your identity as Queer person can bring up a range of question, especially when it comes to finding community, accessing mental health resources. I’ll connect you with resources, organizations, and support networks that can help you address these challenges and empower you to live authentically. As a queer Latinx femme I know it can be challenging navigating multiple layers of oppression, cultural expectations, and the tension between personal identity and societal norms. You deserve to have a space that understands the deep-rooted challenges you face, where you can express yourself freely, find strength in community, and reclaim your narrative. You deserve to be seen. You deserve to be supported. You are not alone.
